Have Started Posting the Novel

Have been working on this experimental on-line serialized novel for a couple of years. It’s mostly complete. Made a blog for it last year but editing the draft has proved really time consuming. I’m still doing it. So in order to get this completed-part of the delay is a lack of discipline on my part and the rest is distraction of writing other blogs and life circumstances demanding attention-I’m starting to post it in January.

It’s not exactly a Buddhist novel. It is narrated by a Djinn-one of those mythological beings from Arabian folklore. It takes place in northern India. While it is all of  “magic-realist” in genre there is a good dose of action and spying, intellectualism along with sex and drugs and rock and roll. There is also poetry involved. It also has some multi-media elements so there’s stuff to experience besides words.

Oddly the overarching theme encompasses the value of love and human life.  So maybe it has a Buddha nature after all.
